I started sculpting in clay my first year in high school. From there is was just a hobby until 1990. I started entering a few art shows and started selling pieces to friends. Due to word of mouth I started having people contact me to create items they wanted. In about 2000 I started Fantasies in Clay and been having fun with it ever
I started sculpting in clay my first year in high school. From there is was just a hobby until 1990. I started entering a few art shows and started selling pieces to friends. Due to word of mouth I started having people contact me to create items they wanted. In about 2000 I started Fantasies in Clay and been having fun with it ever since.
I probably do 10 to 20 pieces a year. Some I sell, some I give away and some I keep.

I start with natural clay. I hand sculpture every piece of work. I have it fired than hand paint each one. Some times I can get one finish in about a month or so. There has been work that has taken me years to finish. It just all depends on how much detail is going into it.
